Strengthen TIIAME Teaching & Applied Research Capacity in
Environmental Protection & Integrated Water Management

Principal Means of Meeting Goal:

Through weeklong workshops, train trainers in the following topics:
- Environmental Policy & Resource Economics
- Water & Soil Interactions
- Integrated Water Management & the Environment
And Pending additional funding:
- Proposal Writing & International Project Management
- Computer Modeling (natural resource systems, hydrology, crop growth, water-use
  efficiencies, economic development)
1 Month Study tours at WSU for 5; 2 week Research Collaboration visits to WSU for 2
Extending the training through short courses & incorporation into TIIAME courses, applied
research projects, and literature dissemination through hardcopy reports & Internet webpages
